What I do when I'm totally bored out of my mind

So this place has give me plenty of time to be bored. I go to work, come home, then pretty much the whole evening is mine to kill, but I kill it very badly. It' pretty much 4hrs of TV. SOOOO lame, I know!! My original plan was to explore the island in my SUV on my weekends off, but instead, I just sleep in, go the market for lunch, grocery shopping, and back home, and read a book when there's absolutely nothing on TV. Once in a while, I cook.

I've given up on ordering any more chinese food, or any ethnic food for that matter. The other day, I went out for lunch after work. I wanted to try the only Indian restaurant I'd seen in town, but they were "closed for the season"...what season you ask? Your guess is as good as mine. So I had to settle for the "Mansoon teahouse" next door...guess what it serves...japanese food, or just maki, rather. The miso soup came with cilantro! and tons of seaweed!

I am however becoming very informed and an expert on US politics as I switch between CNN and CTVnewnet. If one watched only CNN, you'd think there was no countries in the world other than in the USA. CTVnewsnet unfortunately re-runs their segments every 30min so you can't watch it for longer than that. And to be honest, US politics is just much more entertaining than Harper and Dion.

Nope, nothing more interesting to report.
