For oily/combination skin:
1. H2O Marine Cleansing Gel ($28 for 170mL) ** my current favorite!
- face feels very clean, but not squeaky.
2. Yonka Nettoyant Cleansing Gel ($44 for 200mL)
- smells nice, doesn't rinse as clean as #1. Only small amount needed.
3. Decleor Cleansing Milk for Face and Eyes ($32 for 250 ml)
- smells wonderful but doesn't feel like it is cleaning your face.
It feels more like a moisturizer so it doesn't really foam, so you end up using more product. Not recommended.
4. Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser with salicylic acid ($11 for 180mL)
- dries out skin too much if used daily. But can use as an exfoliant from time to time.
It's one of the few daily cleansers that has an acid in it.
5. Dermalogica Essential Cleansing Solution or Dermal Clay Cleanser ($30 for 250mL)
- the first feels slippery after you've washed it off; the second leaves your face with a clean and fresh minty feeling.
6. Clinique Facial Soap ($13.50 for large bar)
- fragrance free, rinses clean.
Good value if you don't mind the messiness of soap.
7. Philosophy Purity Made Simple ($28 for 240mL)
- over rated, what's so special?
Please feel free to add any products you've tried to the review.

AWESOME!!:) I've been waiting a long time for this!:) I'd like to try the Aveeno one...
I'm currently using the Clinique Acne Solutions Foaming Cleanser... Quite good! But a bit drying...
Hello! Have you tried Cetaphil? That's my fav :) Though admittedly, I haven't really tried many others to compare..!
This is the first time I'm trying to post something on a blog! Hope it works.
My favorite is Proactiv. It just simply clears out my acne. I find it really effective but I know some people find it too dry.
I like Cetaphil too. It's very mild for the skin.
oh nice. Thanks Mona.
This is my first time posting too! I haven't tried that many brands but I always look for 1)sunscreen 2)alpha-hydroxy acids 3)retinoid acids...they all prevent wrinkles and sun-induced aging(e.g. liver spots, wrinkling, etc.) with prolonged use!! Clinically-proven too!
